Here in Maine, for some reason.. it is spring a month early.

So I put the Girly on the charger for a bit and fire it up. Once it revved evenly, I put it up on the center stand to let it run for a while... as I do frequently... doing the 15 minute retune...

I come back about 15 min later to find it puking some coolant and the needle pegged on hot hot hot......

thoughts?

ideas?

anyone else encountered this??

The bike has been in the basement (drive in ) all winter, which is dry and warm... this was the first run in months....

Interesting.  I've been stopped in Nevada traffic in 113 degree weather and not had my Tiger overheat.  I'm going along with Mustang.  Check the cap though that still doesn't adequately explain the high temps.

Out in the desert around Big Bend last May, I was riding in 100+ temps and 7500 miles there and back without an issue.... lol  .. I think it is the dreaded and well known radiator cap snafu... but I figured I might get another idea..

Folks, there's loads of stuff on here about coolant puking, leaks and the solutions.  Just grap a jar, sit down and look around some.....
