Rectifier/regulator mod

I'm very grateful to stretch and other for the trials and tribulations they went through to get the good oil on replacement items etc.

With my big desert trip only a couple of months away I've been thinking about installing an updated regulator unit when I install my spotlights and heated grips. My thinking is to iron out any bugs well before the get go.

Anything i'm missing here before I start?

I would leave well alone but, if you're that paranoid, take a spare.

Good airflow over the rec/reg, whether you change it or not, will be an improvement.
