Rear Shock Differences?

Just ordered (ebay) a low mile 2006 rear shock to replace my very high mile rear shock on my 01. Just noticed that bike bandit shows different part #'s for the two. Anyone know if there are significant differences between the two (2001 vs. 2006)?

Well the swing arms are totally different on the two years you quote so they could well be different lengths and have different lower bearings/mounts. Frames the same so top mount should be OK.
