Motorbike Automatic Chain Oiler (pls Identify)

Hi all Tiger fans,

Can anyone tell me the identity of this chain oiler?

Its not electrical, most likely vacuum, it has two pipes going to chain, one right down near rear sproket and another going to top of chain.

The dial at the top (left of picture) as you can see numbers appears to be the rate at which you want oil to flow. On the very top you need to turn dial to any of the setting and there is also a setting called "Prime" which I guess gets it going when empty and need to refill....

it looks like a scottoiler vacuum type, the top connection is the same as mine, the clear pipe should possibly go to an  additional resivour.

If I get change I will post photos of mine soon.

It is indeed a Scottoiler,
the clear pipe at the top/side is the breather and also where you fill it up,
two pipes going to chain?,it is possible the previous owner "T'D" into the original pipe  to make another outlet i guess?,pics would be good :D

Was wondering how to fill it, if I had to pull it out to fill, etc, so if its a scottoiler what type of oil should I be putting into it???

Just pull the rubber bung on the end of the clear pipe out of the main unit. I would use the Scotoiler Red "tropical" oil for where you are, that's what I use here, works a treat.

These guys appear to be your nearest Scottoiler Distributor in Aus but I don't see a listing on thier website, worth a cooee.

thanks for the link, not only have I got details, I've downloaded the installer for the tiger, so I can research about filling etc, thanks very much.

I can see the picture fine,id like to see the two pipes to the chain,these i cant see in your picture.

I just have clear pipe too, no nib like from website, so I may need some spares to get working correctly anyway

mine is down near the battery, then pipe runs in a similar position, but the top one goes near front sprocket, I'll get pics, when I get home.
