Good day all,

I'm in the proses to purchase a 2005 Tiger 955i. I have read a lot of threads here and found good information in general, and now for the but ... I cant find that I'm looking for in a nut shell.

Maybe someone already asked this question and I didn't see it. What must I look for on the 2005 Tiger 955i before I do the final purchase and hand my money over? I'm new to the Truimph world and don't know the "bad" things to avoid that will cost me later. I'm a 2008 KLR650 owner and if the Truimph is good I will take it.

The bike got ± 61 000km on and from what I've read this is not a lot and the motor can still go a looooong way.

Where's the tank 'stripes' ? Cant buy a Tiger with out stripes! It's what makes 'em bounce. Welcome - hope it all works out in your favor. TTFN, j

The previous owner had a small off, and did respray the tank, and the stripes were not replaced

OK -  could add 'em later I suppose. Would look pretty good on the red/orange background. I got a 06' 650KLR - tough little thumper. However, my 06 Tiger is altogether different experience. I think you'll like the distinction. Good luck, j
