Having read a few current posts re problems with the lower mount thought it about time I had a go at lubing the bearing but just in case thought about getting a new bearing just in case but it seems Triumph dont supply the bearing separate, anybody know part nos or alternative source, cheers.

have removed my swing arm for powder coating & have had real trouble with the lower suspension bottom bearing that triumph very kindly do not list as a part at all & this is what Ive found.

I have removed the whole shock from the bike & have managed to push out the bearing & have found a bearing number that fits I will post pics up after the bank holiday when the bearing shop is open but I have checked with simplybearings.co.uk & its available the number required is

IKO YT1725
or
IKO TA1725

Inside diameter 17mm
outside diameter 24mm
width 25mm

Hope this will help anyone finding a replacement cause I can.t understand why triumph do not list it very strange

Make sure you give the metal sleeve that runs on the bearing and goes into the swingarm a good lube too, if that suckers seizes in there you are in a world of pain.

The trick is getting the sleeve in,without chopping bits out of the seals, hence why I found the best option was to have one hand pushing the sleeve in and the other wobbling the swing arm to make sure of the least resistance.

on one side, the seal is damaged. Is there a replacement number. I saw seals on bike bandits on sprint linkage. Think they are 24mm too. will they fit?
