Depends what you are into.

Quite a lot of black on the bike so something contrasting might help it a bit.

A blue metalflake with light blue and white pin stripes might be cool and a bit different to the usual harley stuff. (Harley riders typically only see in four colours - black, red, orange and chrome)

It is however very tempting, too tempting in fact, to suggest other things.

Nobody for instance has ever done a 'Peppa Pig' paint scheme.
Is it really an adventure bike if its wheels never see dirt?

Who gives a toss, it's not a Tiger :)

daveb

how about, you spray a base colour of black, then you wrap the tank and other panels in fishnet stockings and spray over the top in a light blue colour, remove stocking and the effect you get will be amazing, contouring lines are created of different areas as the hug the tank.

Speaking of WRONG forums....
several years ago ... dinking around on the NEW net....
I found a 'Biker's Bar' forum.
So I watched for awhile.... then at the appropriate time....
butted in asking.... I need some carb help if anyone has the
knowledge......
" Yeah, whaddyawanttoknow?"

"Not much ... just stuck on how adjust these 4 carbs on my
Jap bike."

The next 15 minutes resulted in being called every name known to mankind, numerous threats, and I'm a nice guy
Aaaaah...  grown men in an angst !

PS: Build it to a retro / cafe` racer..........  White / Blk / Orange
Don't forget the leather helmet.....

In that case I'd go for matte black to match the rims 8)
and make all the silver bits black too 8)  8)

I'd be tempted to paint it BRG and letter the tank BSA. Then I'd come up with an elaborate story about how the company tried to make a comeback using re-badged competitors bikes.

Ask me about what I did to a Honda 400/4...or...Royal Enfield's last gasp.

I can be a riot at swop meets, ESPECIALLY if there are those "experts" around that like to show off that they know everything.

Malc - Despite the leg pulling, good luck with the paint job.  Make sure you post up photo's of the finished job.
