A several years ago on the TV I noticed famous people fuzzing out their license plates.  Then in the magazines, etc.  Lately everyone blanks them out everywhere even on a RR.  So why?  Why do I care if Joe shmo knows what my car, bike, etc. plate number is?

Curious minds want to know.

So you can't say OO look there's Jo Shmos car, let's wait around til he gets back and get his autograph. Why you would want to is beyond me tho'
