Help me diagnose the ol girl.

Coolant started misting out of the overflow tank.  Did this for 40 miles.
Tank then became more full and temp elevated a bit, misting heavily for 20 miles.

I stopped, let it cool down, well kinda it was in the upper 90's  8)   Started again and within a couple miles was steaming out the overflow and in the red. Pulled over.  Engine was not cooking.

Let it cool, removed high fender tried again and within one mile was steaming again.  Pulled over and got picked up by a $500k coach with 30' trailer and 8 bikes headed to Sturgis.  Thankfully they had one open spot.

My guess is bad head gasket allowing exhaust to pressurise and cook the coolant?  No coolant in oil.  Any ideas  :?:
