Looks like a nice bike http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Triumph-Tiger-Tiger-885-Tiger900-/291671336703?hash=item43e8f766ff:g:uJkAAOSwa-dWqP0e ,I have nothing to do with the seller but thought it looked a nice bike at a reasonable price for someone.
Just curious.... would that be an 'on the road' price??
All you would have to do would be to tax it (road fund license) £81 for 12 months.
Just been looking at that, couldn't help noticing the missing stripes on both side panels, and what looks like oil drips below the clutch cover and on the pipes (I know, how petty :icon_rolleyes:)
Still a nice clean example.
Good points, look like nice corrosion free wheels for a steamer though.

Sometimes they look OK until you get up close and start poking :nod

was wondering if they're girly wheels, as they look anodised?
From this chart of T400 model year differences, I am curious about the eBay ad:
http://www.triumphtiger.net/tigere/Tiger%20T4%20factory%20modifications%201993%20-%201998/Tiger%20T4%20factory%20modifications%201993%20-%201998.htm
My curiosity was piqued initially by researching for my own, off-colored steed - The chart says they did not have Caspian Blue Tigers in 1997 or 1998. I know my tigger was originally (at least the plastics and tank were once) chili red, and a PO had sprayed the current blue coating.
I admit, I didn't read the whole eBay UK description, but I am curious if the chart is incorrect.
PS: I did hear from a Triumph/BMW dealership parts manager that Triumph doesn't care from model year, but instead goes by bike Serial Number. That is why some '97's had Kayaba forks, etc., while later ones received the Showa replacements. Perhaps paint was the same way??

caspian blue was a color for 1997 , it was discontinued in 1998.
most, if not all ,major changes were model year specific . ie suspension and carbs
little things were serial # specific .....ie altenator drives etc .
