Title: Bees always find a way
Post by: badrooster on June 17, 2021, 06:51:23 AM
The boys and I had planned a 4 day ride up the California coast but poor weather and a bee sting to the eye cut things short.
Soo, we ended up on the golden chain highway (49) then 20 to Donner pass, then east shore of Lake Tahoe and back down 4.
I only got one useable picture at Donner lake, as we were mostly just eating up the miles.
Goggle Donner party if you don't know the story. Pretty gruesome.

That really is one gruesome story... Glad you made it to the other side safely. ;) But sad that you had to cut it short.

Some great scenery there - I hope you took plenty to eat!
