Title: Broken Links in the How to thread
Post by: Mustang on October 23, 2013, 08:49:03 PM
Some , not ALL of the links in the How to thread are broken links
Which is why when you click on the topic you want it might not work and takes you to a log in screen and you get caught in a loop !

Things got screwed up with the transition from php to smf software for the forum
So if you know the web address to any how tos that are not working , send me the link in a pm or post them in a reply here and I can repair the how to thread

what happened was the message counts got screwed up on some and some did'nt
I've been repairing them as I find them
But a little help will go a long way  :thumbsup

Fixed two in the Girlies section tonight,  Faults and weaknesses and Sasquatch voltage fix.

To take the load off Mustang a little the Girly owners can PM me with links that don't work and I'll wade through them as quick as I can.

Ok, modified request;  I've been through and labelled all the broken links in the Girly section. :XXcomputer  If anyone has a few minutes and can pick one, search for the missing thread  :icon_scratch:and then PM the link to me (just cut and paste the address line that starts "http://www....")  It'll save me a lot of time and will get us back up and running a lot more quickly. :qgaraduate  Start with the most used like "12 min tune, TuneECU" etc.  thanks!! :thumbsup

fixed a bunch of dead links today (it's pretty quick searching when you know who the author was )

Sadly, there are few links in the Girly section with the author's name.  And I've just drawn my first blank, pedal height adjustment.

Was the sasquatch voltage fix the one where he ran two heavy duty cables up to the battery from the RR

I was trying to help a guy out explaining what was done when I remembered the thread

But the Pics are gone ?? LINKY (http://www.tigertriple.com/forum/index.php/topic,3323.msg19163.html#msg19163)
