Title: pymarid hugger

has any one got one fitted ?
heard that they sometimes hit the battery tray when fully loaded two up  :icon_frown:

any thoughts appreciated

Got one on the Blackbird, very sturdy piece of kit. Even survived being hit with a bolt that stuck in the back tyre, except for a small chunk out of the edge.

IMO a hugger is a waste of money and just turns into something else to clean. If you want to protect the shock, fit a shock sock

or attach a mud flap onto the back of the battery box like so:-

Or, as you might guess from the photos, fit both as I did.

The shock socks work so long as you take them off for a clean now and again  :augie
