I think I messed up and ordered the wrong clutch discs. Decided to replace my steels as my intermit. hard to shift issues continues. I ordered EBC disks ck5589 from amazon as it said that was for an 06 but when I went to Hermy's last night to start looking for steels I realized that it seems mine has the later clutch. My last 6 is 263301. Can anybody verify that this would be the ck5599 clutch kit? Of course the seller I got them from has a return fee as it wasn't amazon themselves but I was hoping to have everything here to do the week before xmas.

Yea... Amazon site is always saying that parts aren't made for my 2001. I have bought lots of parts from there site but I don't consider Amazon a good source of information. They are an over-glorified online bookstore that sells everything now. Hope things turn out...
they do have a good return policy. But, you'll never get the time back. :icon_rolleyes:
UPDATE: I did find an EBC catalog from 2013 that has our bikes listed in it. See attached screenie.
1050's get the CK5599... I think you are golden.
engine # 232539 and up takes the later 1050 plates
you need the ck5599 plates
both use the same springs which if I was replacing plates I would certainly do the springs

I retract my earlier statement that "you are golden." Triumph must have been getting hours on new parts for the 1050's.
I thought EBC catalog would be a good source. I made the same mistake as Amazon. :icon_redface:
Okay. Of course Amazon says the ck5599 doesn't fit the 1050 either but rather the ck5589. Now with that settled. I want to replace all my steels while I am in there as I am having trouble diagnosing the issues. Not one to throw parts at anything but want the clutch basket all settled as taking the tranny out isn't something I really want to do until everything else has been tried. Seems that Hermy's lists a lot of plates and I of course don't want to spend triumph money for them. No listing on the Barnett site that I could find. What do you think I need out of here. http://www.triumphestore.com/a/Triumph_2006_Tiger955i/_51529_5780717/Clutch-Eng-No-232539/100059160-0-2.html
It seems like there are something like 17 required clutch discs, 4 T1171013 plates and 5 T1171012 which makes absolutely no sense to me. If you go to the fitment it has the plates crossing over to all 955 and 1050 tiger models. However, when i went in to the earlier eng number it lists 8 t117014
Here's the funny thing. I did a search of sticky 1050 Tiger clutches and bingo, seems there is a TSB and it is a known issue. Looks like I just need to take it apart and clean then oil the plates. Here is a video of someone showing how sticky theirs was https://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=AwrBT.PgJ19WuK8A99pXNyoA;_ylc=X1MDMjc2NjY3OQRfcgMyBGZyA3lmcC10LTkwMQRncHJpZANUVkhaWE05bFROeWpRSE9hZTFnUndBBG5fcnNsdAMwBG5fc3VnZwMxBG9yaWdpbgNzZWFyY2gueWFob28uY29tBHBvcwMwBHBxc3RyAwRwcXN0cmwDBHFzdHJsAzI4BHF1ZXJ5A2NsdXRjaCBwbGF0ZXMgZm9yIDEwNTAgdGlnZXIEdF9zdG1wAzE0NDkwNzY3Mjk-?p=clutch+plates+for+1050+tiger&fr2=sb-top-search&fr=yfp-t-901&fp=1
Guess I should have searched the 1050 not the 955i. Oh well anybody interested in buying the ck5589 that I bought. Got a good deal for 'em I think around $65 or so compared to the $90 that everyone seems to want so I'd let 'em go for what I have in 'em rather than sending them back.
