Decided I needed a comfortable bike that was comfortable on the dog track roads that I ride on daily. Did some research and decided the bike of all bikes was the Triumph Tiger, and better still the Tiger of all Tigers was the early one, best referred to as the Steamer (a term that is most apt). I checked all the classifieds, and found only one for sale, but what a one. One elderly owner, full service history, low kms (25000), givi top box, and the right colour. Flew from Sydney to Brisbane at 6am, handed the check over at 10am, arrived back in Sydney at 10.30pm (1050kms later) a very happy man. This bike is tops.
Now I just need lower pegs, taller screen, and lots of time to ride. :P
