Title: Down to the dam & back
Post by: Madruss on January 25, 2024, 07:20:28 AM
Thought I'd brighten your day in the "bollocking" cold northern winter I've read about!
It was fine & sunny, 31c so just a quicky.
Straights, downhill corners and scenery.
Up and down, a few hills, across the first dam wall then up around a corner or two. A few long straights to a lookout for dam #2.
Turn around and back to the first dam. Photo stop after crossing the dam wall.
Then up some twisties, then straight and roller coaster through some eucalyptus forest, right turn, then a couple of klm & home.
Zero traffic, the way I like it.
26th January Australia Day tomorrow. Thanks Captain James Cook and crew, aboard the Bark Endeavour 1770

You're a bit cruel to our North American friends.....

Love the colour of that sky, I remember it was like that here once  :icon_mrgreen:

Good to see the Tiger out & about, you've done a grand job there.

I suppose so  ;) but we're at the other end of the world, I doubt whether 90% would even know where we are

I was inspecting the chain & spotted a lug starting "part company" with tyre !
That'll be the next job when I'm home again at Easter.
I resigned my council job in November & have returned to the DIDO workforce. So by my choice I work 21 to 28 day blocks, as the weather can stop you at anytime.
Riding weather is still good, 12 months of the year  :occasion14
