I just bought a couple of LED bulbs and fitted them to my girly. The bulbs have a heat sink that mean that I will lose the rubber dust covers and now I'm worried that the heat sinks will get too hot and melts the wiring behind the instrument panel.
Does anyone have experience with fitting these and can comment?

I have them in my Steamer. No problems. Not sure how similar the Steamer and Girly wiring layout is, but someone here who knows both will be along soon.
