Title: Short trip to Snetterton for BSB.
Post by: pegleg on May 29, 2012, 09:59:03 PM
Took the Steamer for her first 300 mile trip this weekend to sunny Norfolk.
I'm in love! :wings
She goes like a dream, even fully laden with a 6 man tent, camp beds, sleeping bags, tools, heavy lock and chain and many other unnecessary items.
Even had to tow my brothers bike 10 miles after his chain broke, with my son as his pillion.
She's got some stomp.
Definitely a keeper so the 17" wheel conversion will be done, as i am such a short arse, with half a leg one side.
The forward peg lash up is coz i can't bend my leg far enough back for the footrest, for more than a couple of miles.
And yes, i got burnt.
