I haven't had the chance to ride much this year. With the move, trying to get the Tiger here, working a couple of jobs and the Tiger being kinda sorta illegal here until i managed to register it...well, it's not been a good year riding wise.
However, things are looking up. The Tiger is now a fully registered Cypriot citizen and she took her first ride as one today, trying to get used to its new passport.
This is what the first part of our little ride looks like today.

It's a paved over goat track
The road is really narrow, really twisty and can be dangerous. You only have one line. Go off line and you're either off a cliff or you might hit a car coming in through one of the zillion blind turns. So, bunch of fun.
The area is generally hilly with a lot of pine and cypress trees. It's the dry season now, so everything's kinda colourless.

This is Cyprus we're talking about, so there are a bunch of these little churches and chapels everywhere, especially in the mountains.

From that same vantage point you can also get a really good look at the radar assembly in Kionia.

To conclude...i'm rusty as all hell and i need to put in some serious riding to get back up to speed but today was a good start.
Bikes are fun and Tiggers are the funnest.
Aaaaahhh! Luvly.
Nice, wish I was there for some of your sun and quiet roads after my morning commute through the rain and traffic into London.
Cool, Cos! :D

I had to do it otherwise you'd never stop bitching at me.
Keep your eyes open for an MRA Vario and any used Corbins that might come up, will ya? Les is not comfy on the rear seat.

Has she tried bike shorts under the riding pants? How about Monkeybutt powder? Two possible cheap solutions for the short term.
I hate my stock seats(yes, even on the Ape), but I already spent my allowance for the next six months or so. The powder really helps me. My ridng shorts are always wet from the morning 20 miler, so I have not tried them on the moto yet.
Very cool, Cos!
cos, thanks so much for sharing your pics. what a great area. it's been added to my "do this before you die" list.
