Local pikeys drove screws into the ignition barrel, broke the harness off beneath the barrel, and still failed to start the bike. They did a good amount of damage though, and I couldn't start it either - had to get recovered home GRRRR. They were lucky I didn't catch them at it.
Anyone know if the Triumph part ( ignition barrel and corresponding harness ) is the same as used on any other Japanese bikes? I'd prefer not to pay Triumph's inflated parts prices to get her back on the road if I can possibly avoid it.
Thanks in advance.
