Quill Evo II, no baffle...gggrrrrrrr. Loud but really 'throaty', sounds fantastic, scares old ladies and small children. Run it with the baffle in most of the time just to avoid upsetting the neighbours too much. Passed it's MOT with the baffle in as well.
Despite the bad reputation Quill are meant to have I found them excellent and reliable with their three week lead time.
Just need to get back out riding her again!

staintune best for me, I have had two and sold both, but now have triumph tor and is is nice and deep, but still like the staintune the best. I also had a custom micron and custom rotle exhaust. 1 is staintune, 2 is triumph tor

BY FAR...
the best sound came from a short lived, GORGEOUS, custom made pipe
designed by a hot rodder.... the RotLe pipe....

It had a sound like no other ... wrap it up and it sounded like
an Indy car.

The pipe was polished stainles, lightweight, and packed with a ceramic the prevented the outside from getting hot. It was very warm, but after an all day ride you could lay your hand on it.

Problem: The packing deteriorates enough to turn that gorgeous sound into a deafening roar..... at 20mph - 35 mph; Highway is OKAY. But your
neighbors will not like you. You can drown out most Harleys!

I still have one and would like to rebuild it.

Ah, the RotLe pipe ... I had one.  I bought it from someone on this site and sold it to someone on this site.  Wow, was it loud!  I ride 80 miles a day, to and from work, and it just was too loud to be useful.

I'd still like to find a TOR pipe and give it a long term test.  I had a chance to get one for $125 and didn't; still kicking myself for that!

it is and WAS , it hasn't been produced in quite a few years now and was only made in a very small production run .
It was sold by Riders of the Lost Empire (RotLe) a triumph rider org. here in the states based out of Florida . Captain Quack (Andy)is their leader .
The only way you are going to see or hear one is to get Tiger Trax to  part with his .
I told ya they are made of UNOBTAINium (unobtainable)

AKTiger... you bought it from me... then sold it immediately to Stretch.
He crashed his bike.... may still have the pipe though!

One day standing on the side of a mountain top road in Colorado Jane & I heard this motorcycle working its way up the mountain. The sound was a high pitch waning sound .... sounded sooooooooo sweeeeet........ I said to Jane, " That's Jim!" A few minutes later he pulled up next to us. We had split up 7 hours earlier taking 2 routes to Durango..... our paths crossed outside Silverton, CO. Jim and I both ran RotLe pipes. I bought his.

The RotLe had a higher pitch sound vs TOR's raspy sound. It would add about 11 hp to the 955i.... and you felt it. The guy who built them really did a nice job.... but the baffling material would break down. It was gorgeous pipe. Polished Stainless Steel; Much lighter in weight than the stock unit.  Here's a pic on Capn Quack's Tiger at the 2004 Tiger Ride-In.

AK . . .

FYI.....

I may very well be ressurecting that pipe.

I may also be looking for a couple more ( some work has to be done...
and stainless welding costs $$$$ ... so anyone wanting to sell a RotLe pipe, let me know. ( FYI:  the costs to weld are UNREAL! )
