Title: where is your aux plug?

i need to install a cig adapter for my usb. where have you folks installed power outlets? pics would help

If you need just USB, lets face it most stuff can be powered at 5V these days, then why not install a small watertight box with a flip lid like some fishing tackle boxes and install a multi outlet USB together with a small voltage regulator avoiding the need for a cig lighter outlet. Getting a good quality marine socket is not so easy.

I use a standard marine auxiliary socket - as it has the most compatibility.  I often use Motion GPX on my iPhone for exploring, so I have waterproof case and use a Belkin micro USB charger for powering the iPhone.

My auxiliary plug is mounted to the handlebar clamps.  I have a SW Motech one, so it came with a mounting bracket.

Mine is in the same position and type as Lukes. In it, also a usb converter that fits flush to the plug. All parts available for less than a tenner from maplins.
