Title: Crashed Yesterday, cracked gas tank
Post by: Fe Man on February 06, 2012, 10:05:20 PM
Anyone ever successfully repair a cracked tank?

I ate it pretty hard yesterday and the front right edge of the tank hit the pavement hard, gas poured out...
I'll post pics as soon as I pull the tank.

Hope you are ok, one possibility buy a cheap scratched tank from ebay and get a baglux tank cover to go over it. I like the way they look.

It is simple. Clean the area, sand with a coarse grit to create some tooth, mix according to directions and apply. Use the Grey. Joe
