Title: Looking for a smaller (19 liter or less) GPS Tank Bag
Post by: benebob on May 18, 2012, 02:02:14 AM
As the topic says.  Thought I found one and ordered a Motocentric  weekender gps bag.  It arrived today and it is decent except that the mounting straps are crappy (actually I think the one is the wrong one for the bag) but that and the lack of instructions with it left a bad taste for their products in my mouth.  Then Motorcycle Superstore wanting me to pay shipping both ways for something which has no way of staying in position on the bike as shipped means I'm not ording from them again ever.

Anyway, looking for a daily bag that meets the following:

Waterproof as the bike will be outside in the wet on a regular basis with the bag on
GPS or a suitable map pocket
Prefer a ztrap mount over a ring mount
See thru mp3 pocket would be nice.
11-18l

I'm not sure if this is what you want, but check out Wolfman.

I'm also interested in a larger tank bag that fits securely on the tank. The Nelson Rigg I'm currently using slides around too much and it's a little too big. Too bad because it's nicely made, the features work well for my needs,  and the price was right.

These look to be well made and waterproof.... not cheap though:

Ended up getting this
http://www.compacc.com/p/Motocentric-Mo ... 7-Tank-Bag (http://www.compacc.com/p/Motocentric-Mototrek-7-Tank-Bag)

Smaller then I wanted but fits the tank nicely and works okay with the gps (though I did have to cut a cord hole in the map pocket).
