Folks, I had a message from KK today after contacting him a while back because I'd noticed he'd not been around much lately.
It seems KK has troubles heaped on troubles. Life is giving him and his lady a real kicking at the moment, so he's not had time to pop in as normal.
There's not much else to say at the moment; hopefully he'll drop in and let everyone know how things are going soon. In the mean time, here's to hoping things go well for him and he has some better luck soon. :)

Best wishes to you and yours KK.

Had an email from KK today, things are still grim but he's keeping his spirits up. He asked me to thank everyone for the kind words. Hopefully things will come good and we'll have his ugly mug back on line :D
Just heard from Kenny again last night; his wife is v seriously ill at the moment and needing an op. I'll keep the updates coming as and when but in the meantime, fingers crossed for her eh?
Thanks for sharing this BB
I think I speak for all the forum, please pass on our best wishes for a speedy recovery cheers spud
our thoughts are with him for a positive outcome :iagree
Op took 7 hours but has gone well. She's awake and talking so it's a bit of 'wait and see' now. Fingers crossed......
Thanks for the update and wish them well from me cheers Spud :thumbsup
My best wishes to KK and his wife and family. Am heading up that way soon. i will try to smile good wishes down from the bridge.
Got another Email from Kenny today. He has his wife home at last. The news is sort of wait-and-see. They couldn't deal with the problem completely as it was v complicated so they are just waiting and hoping things improve.
Meanwhile, his van let him down and he needed a new alternator. Tough going when he's already putting all his money into the hospital parking meters...
It never rains but it pours, hope everything sorts itself out in the end.
Get well soon Mrs KK. Hope you're both on the up soon.
Got an Email from Kenny today. He and his wife are hanging in there, taking each day as it comes. She's not sleeping well so is very tired but they get out for short walks when the weather allows. He asked me to say "Hi" to y'all.
BB
Keep plugging away, it's all we can do sometimes. Send him our best
Send him my best.
Kenny's been in touch again; he and his wife have been taking it steady, going for quiet gentle days out, staying within her limits. She had a scan last week and it wasn't the all clear they had hoped for, but at least things haven't gotten any worse either. He's hoping his Tiger will see daylight in the next month or two as he hasn't ridden since July but he seems in good spirits considering everything. I'll let him know we're all thinking of them both. :icon_wink:
Hope things improve soon for them both, life can be a bugger
Do you think he would appreciate a visit in July? Wouldn't want to rub salt in the wounds.
He comes across as a fairly private individual Sin, hence him not posting updates directly, but it wouldn't do any harm to drop him a PM and test the water.
If this what I think it is, my wife and I went through it in 2010-2011. Or rather I went through it with my wife's fantastic support.
All the best KK.
Heard from Kenny again this weekend. News is sort of no bad news, so that's good news. He's just MOT'd his bike but found the rad leaking and had to replace it. Pity I didn't know before because they can usually be fixed. I'll do a sticky about that soon because all the older Tiger rads will be needing it sooner or later.
Good to hear, hope you told him not to throw the old one away :icon_wink:
Aye he's keeping it just in case.
:thumbsup
Heard from Kenny today, the situation has improved to the point where he's been able to visit one of his old haunts for a spot of wild camping. He also sent me some cracking photos. I've encouraged him to pop back to TT, say hello and share them. Fingers crossed.
If you read this Kenny, :wave
thats good to hear.. :thumbsup
Nice one
Great news :eusa_clap
cheers Spud :thumbsup
Always good to hear good news. I hope that things continue to improve for them.
Hey guys !! i'd like to say a HUGE thanks for all the support you lot have shown on here !! at the mo everything is going as good as it can be and we are able to get out and about as usual but herindoors does get tired very easily so we just have to make lots of stops !! hospital visits are down to every 6 months now so thats a good sign and the local doc sees her every 6 weeks, so at the mo we are just trying to make the most of what we have !!
again thanks :notworthy
KK
Keep up the good work man, nice to see you here again. All the best.
Good to see you back mate, now get back in the saddle. Nobody does parts sourcing like you do :thumbsup
:wave
Just heard from Kenny again, things are still up and down, but he and his good lady have managed to get out for the occasional ride in his van, and he's had a run out on the Tiger so some positives. He had a sticky caliper that he's had to fix and re-iterated the benefits of lifting the caliper above the cross hose when bleeding the left one!! :thumbsup
I'm sure I speak for all of us when I wishd them both well. I've would really like to see him pitch up at the annual bash, even for just a couple of hours, and even if it's in the van, but sadly I don't think it will happen.
Hang in there Kenny :wheel
Glad to hear he's still in circulation, was hoping to meet up sometime, you never know :wave
Hey Guys !!
