Title: Caernarfon run
Post by: PeteH on May 23, 2012, 12:32:04 AM
At last its stopped raining, but its a little cool. Still, it did`nt stop fourteen bikes turning out for a run to Caernarfon.
I had volunteered to take lead on the run and chose some great Welsh roads to get to the destination, but setting a pace everyone would be happy with was a bit of worry.
So a quick blat to Bala and a breakfast stop at Frongoch on the A4212 before heading to Trawsfynydd, then taking the B4391 to Ffestiniog...what a great bit of road it is :D

The return leg took us through the Llanberis Pass along with the usual rolling roadblocks :(  the sceneries better coming the other way, but its best to keep an eye on the road
