Post by: Alan Spears on June 20, 2012, 04:18:16 PM
Does any know how or if the rear brake pedal can be adjusted? I have to really point my foot down to engage the rear brake
Thanks

yep just adjust the rod from the clevis hook that goes to the master cyl.
lengthen it raises pedal height shortening it drops pedal height

this pic is of a steamer but girlies are the same .

The very first job I did on my 955 when I rode it home from the shop in 2001.

watch the spring tension on the small behind the arm
get it slack and it cam come off
the spring counters the weight of the lever
loose it and the weight of the lever can cause the stop light to flash or may cause the brake to drag
I poped a small piece of fuel pipe on the pin just to stretch the spring a little once I adjusted the angle
