97 steamer haynes manual says rear should be a 140 mine has a 160 on what shall i replace it with size wise ?
thanks all
lookin at tourance
thanks
if your bike still has the standard steamer rim which is 3 1/2 inch width IIRC
the tire should be correct at 140/80R17
you can get away with a 150/70R17 and it will work just fine .
A 160 width tire is too much for a stock steamer rim .
Thanks mustang yes still has stock rim thanks for the info
150 it is then :notworthy

what kind of riding do you do? I ran Kenda Big Blocks for about 5000 miles and they rock in the dirt. Work really well on the road at high speeds too.
