Title: US- 1998 Triumph Tiger For Sale
Post by: Chinpunk on November 06, 2013, 04:25:17 AM
Hello to all my triumph enthusiasts.
Got a beautiful steamer for sale with a bit over 41k miles on the odometer.
I bought this bike last year it was sitting for about 3 years from what i understand. I went through the trouble of cleaning carbs tuning the valves fixing brakes etc , never got it to run perfectly though .
It needs at least 10-15 min to warm up then it runs fine.
That's as much of it's history i know.

The bike has a tank from the same model but with much fewer miles on it (no bumps etc) , center stand everything else is OEM.

The best part of this bike is that is conveniently located in the East Coast , N. Virginia to be more exact.

Looking for $3,000 OBO.

If you have any questions id be happy to reply to my knowledge.
Clean title, owners manual, haynes manual etc included plus the old leaky tank if you want it .

I can see why it won't run right ...................... :nono

those cans have been gutted and from the soot I see  it's way too rich .
no amount of dickin with the carbs will make it run right with those exhausts
