Title: Clutch cable better than OEM?

Im going to get a new clutch cable and I've been told the OEM one is prone to breaking. That Yamaha has a better one, Anyone know of this or bought one?

Complete tosh probably someone with a memory about when there was recall in the early days.

He comes from the daytonas and sprinters... So its probably just THOSE bikes that it relates to.
