Hi Everyone
I apologies in advance if this has been asked before, I have searched I promise.
I replaced my headlight bulbs at the weekend following the "how to with pictures section" brilliant, even a novice like me managed it - Thank you.
It has made a big difference to the light levels and I can now see the road ahead. However, I have read that you can plug in a relay or two and have both headlights come on at the same time.
Bearing in mind I am a self classed novice - what type or relays do I need and where do I put them?
Thank you
Neil
Neil, reach under the left side of the cowl, below the heated grips switch. You'll find a rubber cover and behind which is an empty relay socket.
this post might help, or then again not.... :icon_rolleyes:

Thanks Bixxer Bob - I'll have a go :^_^ :icon_biggrin:
I am planning on upgrading my tiger like I did my trophys. I have a set of ring xenon h4 bulbs to install and also a mini spot/flood led lightbar. I need all the light I can put out for some of the roads I ride on to work.
Will post up a pic of my trophy later

I went through the whole upgrade process on my Tiger over the years. First was higher wattage bulbs. Improvement, but not as drastic as I would have liked. I then wired in a couple of relays with good battery power so that the bulbs got full battery voltage. This actually made more of a difference than just the bulbs.
Then I just finally bit the bullet and got dual HIDs. 4500k temperature. Brilliant. Lighting was easily 2x over H4's. Then to top it off I have a set of the ADVmonster LED driving lights, one spot, one flood. It is daylight in front of my bike at night.
finally got chance to install my led combo light bar on the tiger.
first one is just sidelights
second one is low beam (xenon blub upgrade)
third is High beam.
forth is sidelights and light bar ( couldn't take a good pick with low beam on and bar)
fifth is just lightbar
