Title: another mystery part
Post by: beefos on August 20, 2016, 06:06:54 PM
Found this part balanced on the swinging arm behind the engine.
Couldn't see an obvious home for it.
It's a mushroom shape black rubber with a metal insert in the stem.
the domed head is 1.25 in dia and the stem .75 in diam.

Anyone recognise it?

Could be one of the plugs that cover the bolts that go through the swingarm and then the top end of the dog bones.

Also, can't find it in parts, but, there are 2 similar to that, that fit to the frame that supports the airbox?

TP's probably got it right there, cos if the swingarm one falls out it wouldn't end up sat on top of the swingarm.

TP was correct.
There is one on both sides of the frame and the airbox is supported by them

Thanks
