Hi guys,
I'm loving the Steamer Phil renovated and keeping her polished.
Annoyingly the left hand read indicator has be broken off mid way along the rubber stem.
What adhesive can you suggest I use to adhere the sections back together?
Alternatively do any of you have a spare indicator I can buy?
Cheers guys.

Honestly, you've had it like 5 mins, and already broken...........
I'll look in garage later, it's not really a glue job, but the shaft is used by many bikes, with different heads on them, so you may be suprised at whats available.

I just knew you'd be on to me ! :*&*
I've no idea how it's happened, could be vandals.
I agree with you that using adhesives wouldn't work.
Great tip on these stems being used for other similar indicators.

Dude, read the for sale section..........

I just spotted this, I'll pull my hand back down :icon_redface:
Do you know which other bikes off hand Phil? Be a handy nugget of info :nod
It's very easy to break old "rubber" like these even just while squeezing past them in the garage.
I've got a pair of Guzzi ones, I think, with circular chrome ends.
Possibly Italian of same era.
Will post them in for sale, just for you Sin....mmmmm Chrome.......
And lets see how Long it takes Dan to spot the posting connection......

I had a pair that were identical to the Steamer ones but had Chromed casings (still got the casings) I had thought they were from an Adventurer but they are a completely shape.
