I must be doin something wrong. As suggested Im searching for the "dreaded alternator failure" or DAR etc and always come up with everything from tires to oil consumption?? No habla?? what am I missing.

Well.... this forum is relatively young I guess so perhaps the DAR hasn't been discussed all that much as it is a well worn topic (I searched as well and didn't find anything...).
