Ok you Brit type folks,
Anybody fancy meeting up one Sunday morning to talk cobblers.
Box Hill or the Ace cafe or any other suggestions.
Bob
Load up n come over to the dragon rally on the 11th feb
Coventry - M6 J3
Newton Abbot, Devon.
Glad to see the Brits attempting a 'Tiger get together' ....
I issued a challenge 7 weeks ago to have a Brit Tiger rally event and
attract 30 Tigers. I'd say you can do it..... justhave to plan it so it attracts ALL types of Tiger riders.
I spend 6-9 months putting together the Tiger Ride-In here in the USA. But it pays off ... we get a very nice crowd from more than 1000 miles ONE WAY. We should have 100 Tigers at our June event in Georgia.
So stick with it .....and get the first one under your belt ... so the next one will be even better. Arrange lodging and camping; Map out ride loops; list places of interest; Arrange 2 evening meals together; Take a lot of pics; Have a terrific time!.
Good Luck!

So anybody fancy a British Tiger meet up May June or July :?:
Bob
Yes mark me down for 2 but Im in scotland 6-15th may
Where does everyone fancy cause I know of a great little spot in wales with a pub right next door
Most places are a feasible commute from the midlands, so count me in provisionally. If it includes camping and beer, then so much the better
I would have thought a sunday afternoon at the Pondrosa was front runner.
Ponderrosa cafe sounds good to me too.

consider yourself lucky,we live at the bottom of a lake, and every morning our mother thrashes us to within an inch of our lives and makes us lick the lake clean with our tongues.
Love to join you for a blast, missing those twisty A roads, but even on the tiger its a bit more than a sunday ride.
Pom in exile,250k's south of Perth Western Oz,(but if you're ever in the area, even this sunburnt country has a few good places to ride)
Yorkshires a bit far for me!

have we decided on a deffinate yet then??
Wot about hunstanton is that any better for people its a regular bikers haunt.
Are we doing it over a weekend? or just a day meet n a ride out any ideas anyone
is this tiger meet going to happen in 06 ............?
If this is to be a "national" meet then I would have thought somewhere central with some decent riding around is favourite. Wales seems the obvious choice - the Ponderosa has already been tabled - has anyone any other suggestions ? Next on the agenda would be a summer date ?
Maybe when we've three popular venues and three popular dates we can set up a poll ? - Just my 2p's worth.
Ok then ponderosa good for me & mate is it a camping weekend or a day thing?
I reckon june/early july
Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland. Just changed from Honda Varadero to Tiger. Previous bikes, five Africa twins!
I'd be interested in meeting up some time in the Summer?
The Ponderosa looks good but is there anywhere local to camp for those of us who would make a weekend of it?
I'm in maidenhead with a yellow 96, perhaps we've passed on the A4?
Count me in, as long as the date doesn't clash with anything currently in my diary. I'm in central UK so most places are relatively convenient :-)
Yes count me in,as long as I am not working that weekend. For those looking for a camp site, check out WWW.stationcampsite.com (http://www.stationcampsite.com)
Its about 5 miles from the Pondarosa and close to a few good pubs.
wales is a great place to meet ....but dont forget that the chief constable is an anti bike /speed /any fun freak. we got nicked last easter in the family car they dont call him the traffic taliban for nowt .im still on for big tiger meet but watch your licence in wales .[/quote]
Hence the Ponderosa were you get left alone.
