Title: metal fuel fittings

Anyone know the link for the company that makes the fuel fittings to replace the crap plastic ones on the gas tank

found this info on the Yahoo list, don't know if they are what you a re looking for or not, but at least there are some alternatives:

Lockhart Phillips makes a piece called a Fuel Coupler 5/16" 2 valve Part

#245-1495. It is the



male and female part, the female part is obviously useless due to where the



female part is in the Fuel pump. Here is the good news the male part fits



and works perfectly!! It is straight compared to the 90 degree bend on the



stock fitting, but it works great there is enough slack and space under the



tank to attach the hose and click the connector in. And the final tally 20



bucks!!! This is a little more than some other alternatives but way easier

to



get a hold of. I now have this part on my bike and it works great and does



not leak at all.
