Seems like a lot of people like this seat.  Any idea if going from a two piece to a one piece seat design has any advantages?  I've always like having two piece seats.

I've yet to see if the stock seat fits me anyway so I'm reluctant to purchase one until I've ridden the bike for a while and I was quite partial to my Sargent.  Just pondering.

Chyron was looking for one and this might be just right for him.  I'm not sure from the pics if it has the back rest hardware or not....

No joke.  That's kind of why I mentioned it.  You've made it known that you are looking for one.  Not that someone else doesn't have a right to it but it would be nice to give you a shot at it since you've made it well known that you need one.  Good luck with it!

No problem.  It's a small enough community here we ought to be able to help each other out.

Thanks everyone for not running up the bid.  I got the seat for $180.  That's $10 over what I was going to pay, but what the hell.  They don't come up for sale that often. It should be here Wednesday.

Fantastic!  I'm glad you were able to get them.  I'll be putting the Sargent on the Tiger since I've been so happy with the one on my Beemer.

Need a backrest?  Got one.  It's an aftermarket that fits a corbin seat.  Works great.  Used it about 3 times on my Bonneville.  Well the Bonnie has gone to the salvage yard.   If interested let me know and will send pic's.

EDIT: For Sale ad posted in "Everything Else For Sale" forum

I'm thinking of putting my Corbin (for '06 Tiger) up for sale. I'll start a thread in the "for sale" forum and post pics once I make up my mind. It only has about 2500 miles on it. It's called the "Canyon Dual Sport" with leather seating and the shop order I got says "no stitch pattern in seating area." It cost me $300 plus $35 shipping.

I'm trying to figure out a fair price, then decide if I want to sell it or not. Any ideas on value? Looks like seats with a lot more miles on them are going for $175 and up. I'm leaning towards asking $200.
