Guy sounds like a tool but the bike has next to nothing for mileage on it and looks like it has been babied.  Worth a look if you're in the market.

No affiliation on my part...

I saw this one earlier and thought the same thing.  He sounds like a tool.  It also seemed too good to be true.....something didn't seem right about this one.  :Topes

I don't need the nicest '06 on the planet.  The nicest '03 works for me.

If it were black I would really wonder about it. I totaled a black 06 that would be the same age as that bike with about 750 miles on it.

After the insurance had paid off some dude from northeast Tennessee calls me that said he had bought the bike and gotten a clean title. He was going to fix it up and put it on ebay.

Thinking about it, he would have needed to replace the cockpit, tank, rear fender, and bags (along with forks and straightening the subframe). He may have just changed the color on it...

Dang.  Those chicken strips are almost as wide as the wear strip.  It's been ridden 800 miles and none of them involved turning.

Geof

Those are huge chicken strips and with only 800 miles on it I say he was a newbie who scared himself silly with the power of the TRIPLE   , and then had a parking lot tipover on the big cat and said "FOR SALE!"

Seriously though , with the price of gas at 3 bucks a gallon and over , I think a lot of nice bikes are going to be for sale next year with very minor , or none at all , damage caused by new riders who were looking to beat the gas prices and found out that motorcycling just was'nt their cup 'o tea!

I asked, and he said the reserve was 7500, but he's opened it up for 7000.  He included a phone number.

If anyone is interested, I can PM you the phone number.

Am I wrong or are those Anakees on that bike?  With only 800 miles on it I would assume those are the original tires.  I thought all of the Girly years had Tourances as the OEM tire?

I still think something is fishy but $7500 would be a great price for someone.
