Title: 2k Service Manual which one ?
Post by: GasDepot on March 12, 2008, 05:33:32 AM
Hi All
Just picked up a 2000 and I was wondering the pros and cons of the different services manuals.
I have found a Haynes (http://www.themotorbookstore.com/haytriumdays.html) and the factory book and the ebay one that cbxtc6 posted about on a recient thread geotiger started about where to buy a manual.
Is there any other for a 2000 thats 1/2 Girly & 1/2 steamer.
Any one have both ?
I would say I'm a good home wrench if I have the tools I think I could do just about anything.
I have split the case on my KLR and it's still going strong.
I have more time than money.
I will more than likely go for the factory manual unless someone convinces me not to.
Thanks
James

Howdy!  Welcome aboard...

There is a ©1999 edition of the Triumph Tiger manual that specifically covers the 885i.  I had one for a while, but sold it to another member here, as I had bought it off eBay by mistake (I thought I was buying the 955i manual).

A later printing covers the 2001-2006 955i models.

I have the SpeedWrench copy of the 2001-06 Triumph manual.
