Title: Trip prep and farkling
Post by: Patrick the Scot on April 06, 2008, 02:57:50 AM
The upcoming Utah-Colorado trip dictated a total run through on El Tigre. Did an oil and filter change, new spark plugs, new front Michelin Anakee, and a K&N filter. Then added Touratech bash plate, engine bars, bar risers.

Also, look real close for the loud-ace low-tone horn: $12 from AutoZone.  Plugs in at the Tiger wires with no mods required.

It'll be real dirty here in a few months...

Also, we haven't had rain here in Lubbock since Sept '07, so there has been no mud or grime slosh to coat the bike here in the city.

Fano - you ride your Tiger like a rock-star parties!  In every picture of your Tiger, carnage and mayhem has or will happen.  I firmly believe you have proven the Tiger to be a real off-road machine.

Hey Jerry!  Just go to AutoZone.  Get the $12 low tone "trucker-loud" horn.  Plugs right in.  You'll love it.

Tiger is a wild animal. You have to show him who the master is.
