Title: Albert Hoffman RIP
Post by: TriumphTengu on April 30, 2008, 01:55:51 PM
Albert Hoffman, the Swiss chemist who first synthesized and experimented with lysergic acid diethylamide, died today at age 102.

I guess when I was younger (and more foolish?) I might have taken a "trip" on my Tiger.

Well, poop!

Here I always thought it was the Beatles and Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds!

The Swiss got their nose in everything!

Damn.  I was just reading about him last weekend as I was getting off the pain killers from my first accident 2.5 years ago, thinking couldn't they make non-addictive pain killers.  Well, we still have Sacha Shulgin to carry the "better living through chemistry" torch.
