I'm not much for writing up a report so this will mostly be pics of my Tigger. I took a 4 day motorcycle/business trip from MN to Chicago and Wisconsin. I had a few clients to meet with so I turned it into an 1100 mile loop. Set my GPS to nothing but minor roads and headed SE to the southern suburbs of Chicago. The farmland west of Madison is gorgeous. Coming back after a visit with a client in WI I went up the Michigan Lake Shore and then cut through the Wisconsin Dells countryside and headed North West. The Amish were quite friendly to the stranger on a motorcycle. Many of the roads brought me right through their farms and they always waved pleasantly at me.
Have I mentioned yet today that I love my Tigger? What a fantastic bike!!! Couldn't have done this trip on my BMW RT....
Photo number 9 is intriguing... that sharply peaked hill on the other side of the river, shot between the two islands. Good eye.
Luvly silver Tigger, of course. 8)
That's the first decent trip I've gotten in on the Tiger and it was fantastic. One of those trips that make you scream when you turn down the road and see what you are about to have the fun of riding on. Dr. Greg Frazier put it perfectly......orgasmic roads. This Tiger is perfect for me. :wings
Nice pics, looks like you had a good trip. Its not until you do your first long trip that you realise just how good your tiger is! :D
Great pics. I have an '05 and was wondering what kind of tank panniers and mirror off sets you have. :D
Mountain Sun Panniers and SW Motech offsets. The bags are expensive but have been exactly what I needed.
