Title: Question: Is this a good deal?
Post by: musang on May 04, 2004, 03:32:37 AM
This is available to me:

brand new 2003 Tiger, black or silver or orange, with matching sidebags, plus Canadian$ 1,000 in accessories or clothing.

Price (limited time):  Canadian$ 12,500 + sales tax + set-up

I feel very tempted. Am I right that this is a good deal?

Pls reply rush.

Musing:

Here in the US, the Tiger is $10,500 with bags plus set up and tax.  However, take a look at  Cycle Trader.com  for the prices of clean used 2003.  The trade hit on Tigers is fairly steep so you will roll it off the floor and loose thousands since the 2005 is essentially out.

However, my opinion is test ride to see if it is the right bike for you.  If so, you can't beat a new bike with warranty and the price is good for Canadian dollars (speaking as an ex-Canuck).
