where do you guy's buy your chain and sprockets? i ordered a package deal from sprocket center, but they couldnt get me a rear in a 48 tooth.
Dennis Kirk online has rear sprockets for steamers they are steel 48 tooth JT sprockets , chain same place
front sprocket I usually get from sprocket specialists in CA
thanks brother mustang. sorry i didnt get back to you sooner, been busy with a nasty bird strike on a flap. yum yum chicken :D
Bike Bandito can get you all the aftermarket chain and sprog combos you want, also if DK fails you.
MMMM! Birdstrike! Even better when pre-scrambled in the engine!
if i can find them, i got some good pics of one of our 737-200's with an eagle sticking out of the flap. hit it on there way into ketchikan, ow. i looked at bike bandit, but there pissin me off right now- been waiting forever foe a set of winter gloves to be sent to me, as well as a gasket. i'll give'm a look tonight.
I have pretty much quit doing business with Bike Bandit. It seems like everything I order takes 2-3 weeks to get to me.

years ago I got to go on a tour of the Pratt & Whitney Jet engine facility in Hartford CT.................it was pretty awesome to watch how they test the impellers and vanes in the jet for bird strikes .
They fire that bad dog up and from 20 feet away they shoot a 20 pound frozen turkey into the spinning impellor, it's not supposed to take any damage , just grinds it up and sends it out the back like it was never even there
