A short, few hours of riding for me! Beautiful country, good roads and good food!
It's still far off time-wise, but I'll keep it penciled in on my calendar!
Okeeee Dohkeeee
I have set my departure for my "Round The States" tour as June 2nd, and my second stop will be at the Roost for the ride in...
Now the rest of you lamers HAVE to come and send me on my way with a huge Pahhteee.. my 50th is the 9th, so there is another reason to celebrate.
My trip is gelling, having spent way too much time lately with Mapsource and getting suggestions and clues form the folks at ADVRider.com. The trip now sits at 15,000 miles and 45 days as it is mapped out. My guesstimate is that is will be more like 60 days and 20,000 miles before I get home...
So there.. now there are two of us coming!!
Beuller?
I have the weekend open right now, so it is definatly a maybe.

I'm planning on attending with the wife. This will be our second stop over of our 8 week tour :hello2
Looking forward to meeting everyone and putting some faces with names.
Arriving late Saturday.
I'll be hitting the slab on Friday morning and plan to arrive early in the evening. There are some great roads to explore in that corner of North Carolina. Hope we can get 50+ riders this year.
Looks like about 6 PA riders will be at Eastern Tiger Ride-In.
It used to be Florida and Iowa had the most riders with Florida riders the ones who traveled the most distance as a group.
I would suspect that in NC there should be plenty of NC, SC, GA, VA,
KY, TN, OH, PA, and a few New Englanders. We'll see who rides and who does not.
It would be easy to hit 50 riders if there is a little 'encouragement'... on our end, Stephen has made the preparations, secured a bunch of giveaways, and has planned a really good time.
Let him know you are coming and be there for the events.
If you've never seen 40+ tigers parked in a line or rolling down the road.. you've missed a great sight.... Quite frankly... I doubt if Triumph has ever seen that!
So c'mon folks ... jump on this wagon and ride it til the wheels fall off!
I guarantee.... you will have a great time!

And in March of 2008
Quote from: "Yukon"Great looking ride. Chalk up another tiger owner for the PA riders. We still have a long way to go to catch up to the Georgia coalition!
Followed by
Quote from: "Stretch"For real.
How the hell did that happen, anyway? Georgia USA leading the way in the internet Tiger populous... I thought all we did was Coca-Cola and bad presidents.
Do I sense a little friendly competition on our way to hitting 50 plus riders?[/b]
Competition???
No.
As for Georgia riders...I did see a couple of 'em....
NC riders seem to travel a bit.... if we're close by.
I won't even mention the OH rider ... whoever that is!
I'm in.
I'll be riding along two other big cats from the DC metro area.
See you all there! :headbang
Any ride reports, pics, etc???
Naw... their still writing their story... making certain everyone is in sync.
Gazoo...
You going to the Upper Peninsula Ride-In???
We have NE-MO Tigers rolling thru I-O-A on way up... U-in ?
We may snag Charlie, Wedeking, and a couple Iowegans...
We'll try to coerce Happy Man and some Meee-Niss-ota riders to join in.
We may have a convoy!
We can certainly out-do the SE Tiger riders...
Ride long-ride hard- ride dirty !
I'm hoping to do the UP ride, since I've missed all the other recent ones. Been running too much and not riding enough! May even extend it a week and head back to PA.

Gazoo,
If I remember correctly, you mentioned in an earlier post that you were from Johnstown. If you head this way, let me know if you would like to take in some of the local roads we have to offer.
