We can frequently go for years without seeing the big puddle behind the yard, but it has appeared twice just this month. The first time, it snowed (after three days of rain) and then froze. The young 'un was skating on it then.

Need any help with your sandbagging? My wife is now an expert. The river "might" have crested today.
Just kidding. Enjoy the puddle. I'm a bit cooped up and no riding or other travel in the near future.
Yep, I was thinking about your predicament while she was out paddling in the yard.
Hoping for the best...
 Better watch for 'gators....Oh wait that's FL. Your closer to them "Hill" folk. Watch out for banjo playin' hill billies.......
I am a banjo-playing hillbilly.
Guitar mostly, though.
You didn't marry your sister or anything like that though did ya? I'll still buy you a beer but I might have to watch my back.....
No, but I once slept with my daughter's mama.
:ImaPoser Guess it's still safe to visit then. :friday
You ought to teach her how to 'noodle' while you got the chance.
Nothing but wet fire ants near those banks.
Man, and I thought we had some rain last night.
My son came home for weekend as we had planned a weekend right over to the HILL country around Mt Dora near Orlando and up into Ocala national forest. We decided to hold off after seeing what was headed our way for Saturday night and Sunday morning. Don't mind riding in the rain but prefer to avoid frog stranglers and rain blowing sideways.
We did go out Sat for a ride. Good god the wind was howling. Made for some interesting riding when coming home across one of the bridges. The wind was blowing steady across the bay at 30+ mph quartering in on the left side. Was moving around like bad case of buffeting times three.................
