Post by: abruzzi on May 14, 2009, 07:22:51 AM
Sometimes I spend a lot of time looking for cool photos in obscure parts of the world.  I came across this one:

http://www.panoramio.com/photo/3459330 (http://www.panoramio.com/photo/3459330)

Post any cool ones you find (make sure you link to the panaramio page as well so we can see the location.)

Hey I recognize those bridges, we rode over them on our way to a brilliant weeks riding in Scotland.
KK you are a lucky sod. after southern England the roads are empty, the surfaces superb and do they swing!
the A890 and A832 Strath Bran got our vote for the best of the lot, and the Bealach Na Ba pass was the best this side of the Alps.
Amazing when it aint raining!

Saw that on TV the other night, BBC2 a new series with Griff Rhys Jones. The first episode was on Scottish rivers, pretty interesting and some great scenery. You can probably see it on Iplayer if you missed it.

We  saw the river programme and the ballast said we should go back in september. Naturally I agreed without trying to sound too keen, but are those damned mozzies gone by then?

I stayed at Lochearnhead and on the edge of Loch Awe at different times,  Love Oban and up the coast to Glen Coe, also around Loch Tay was good.
