Just got back from quick 2 day ride over to St Augustine. Mr buddies father in law was over from England so he rented a bike and we went for a ride.
Left out thursday morning and headed back today.
Not a bad trip, just really hot. Been a brutal Florida summer so far.
Had a great trip. Took our time, stopped often to get out of the sun and rehydrate. Carry a camelbak for the first time which worked out well.
Ride home was great fun. Lot's of new road's and some place's I've never been to before, including the Buluw Plantation, and a run through the Green Swamp. Had to dodge some summer thunderstorm and did pretty good till we were only about 25 miles from home. But even that wasn't bad and we only caught the edge of the storm.
I haven't been there in ages. I need to remedy that.
