Title: Firefox and logging in
Post by: ChazzyB on October 10, 2009, 04:55:58 PM
Why can't I log in to TigerTriple using Firefox? It works fine with IE, but when I try with Firefox (my preferred browser), I don't get a 'dodgy password' message or anything else, I just remain logged out!

I'm on IE here at work, and Safari at home.

Must be software incompatibility.  I was on a forum a few years ago that wouldn't work (at all) with the Safari browser on my Mac.

I don't have any ideas other than to try using a different browser.  Sorry I'm not any help.

I'm on Firefox without any issues logging in, other than being slow but I blame Vista for that.

I can`t log in from the top of the page log in/out button either !! what i do is go to the bottom of the page and click the post reply button, it then brings up the usename/password log in box, fill it in there and it works !!

I've been using FF for years but this latest version has been a pain.  It has trouble at times getting into my everyday sites that IE or Chrome will work just fine.  Then later FF will work on those sites also.  I'm so used to it that I'd hate to change browsers.  I've started using Chrome a lot because it's quicker.

I still use IE-7....

I tried to bounce over to FireFox but it created some problems...
I don't need that.... so back to IE.

A few days ago I ran my PC Doc Pro scan.... it found 7,778 Junk and redundant files in my system..!!  662 registry errors! WTF!
So I made certain Carbonite was working.... and began the dete process!

things work much faster now.... ya know I feel better too!

I'd been scanning with WINPRO . . .

have no problem with windows based Opera with %99 of the sites I use.

Opera is a small player so the less bots, virusus etc are written to infiltrate it cause its not a big enough player in cyberspace.  This is what gave Fire Fox its name initially. It was more virus etc. free simply cause fewer at first wanted to infiltrate it.  Once it got larger, the attacks grew.  These days its only margionaly better than IE  IMHO.
