Does anyone know where I can find interesting graphics for my bike? The previous owner took the stripes off, so my gas tank is blank and I'd like to put something unusual, but tiger or triumph related on it. This is for an '06 955i.

Sabre, have you thought of contacting a local airbrush painter/sprayer?
you could have the tank sprayed to look like it split open and your avatar in the split area. it gives a new meaning to the old ESSO saying, 'put a tiger in your tank'
if you do go down the aribrush route and are struggling to find a sprayer let me know, and I will check on the airbrush site I frequent if someone is within reasonable distance.

That's a great idea, daveb. Thanks! I actually know of a guy in my hometown I could call. I recall someone saying that he gives a great price if you give him something really creative he WANTS to work on.
The only problem I'll have with going that route is the downtime. I guess I'll have to borrow my husband's 1050 during that time.

if I get chance this weekend I will try and produce a mock up for you, I will copy your avatar, find a piccy of a blank tank, use some creative editing. and see what I end up with for you. I have limited knowledge of photoshop but I have other packages I use. I can even change the photo into a pencil drawing electronically to make stencils.
Jane, here is the mock up.

I forgot to remove the burger the cat is chasing.
The Avatar is of low resolution and pikalated when I expanded it. I should have cut more of the pool off it. :x
Dave! That is incredibly cool! I love the idea of it! Thanks for doing a mock up. I wonder if an artist can be great enough to make it look as though the tiger is actually under water. That would really lend itself well to the tank!

on the airbrush site I frequent, there is a Lady call Kat.... and her airbrushed animals are unbelievable, I will send you the link of her work.

I'd really like to see the link, please. I'd like to see what kinds of possibilities are out there, though I'm really keen on the "tiger in the tank" idea you came up with.
you should put steamer graphics on the Girly. 8)
I considered something similar before going the stock route with the Steamer. Claw slash from the top down exposing a Tiger face, as if it was trying to claw it's way out of the tank. Never got around to mocking it up though.
My local specialist recently finished a spare MX helmet with a Tiger face. reached my post limit sadly.

it's still early sunday morning here :ImaPoser
I don't believe it, they let me back in for free and my old uploads are still there from 5 yrs ago :hello2 thanks for the nudge Mustnag :icon_salut
Ever so slightly OT but I hope it gives a little inspiration. I must admit I got a bit carried away but the workmanship is superb. these are earlier shots, I since sent it back for him to add a little pink flesh around the inner mouth area.

Only worn it out a couple of times, you should see the reaction from taxi drivers that just upset me when I lower my head and growl at them

It's not quite the same doing that from the saddle of a Varadero, can't wait to get the Steamer back  then find pink goggles and huff.
I had similar looks when I wore the grim reaper I painted, one taxi driver rolled down his window and commented on how good the lid looked.

Perhaps I should try and paint a Tiger on one of my old lids what do you think?
I am always up for a challenge, last time I painted an animal for was for my CSE art class some time in the past.
